Going Home
take a break
relax a bit
you never really slow
your body aches
mentally full
time
to just go home
mom and dad
haven’t changed
same things still make you laugh
hearing how they fight old age
valiant stories of vacations past
how nice
to just go home
family time
hard to imitate
or fill with other things
all adventure still will end
wanting the story retold
waiting for you
to just go home
driving back
no radio on
content with just my thoughts
praying that my life includes
a family like
the one I’ve got

Ah. Home. I'm so ready to go home, too. As crazy as my family is, it's always refreshing to go home to a place of *mostly* peace and affirmation. And, of course, I am excited about going "home" someday, too. But I'll wait on eternity for that one. Or something like that.
...makes me miss my momma.
And I reflect the same sentiments. Glad your visit home went well - you do have such a writing ability - that was awesome.
it's been a week already...I keep checking this...and nothing...the world needs an update
Toph, keep writing
I love that I know you as a great writer
Toph-
Where have you been? It's been a while...
I've enjoyed this entry, and have read it many times- but, I'm ready for something new...
See you soon. Don't be a stranger!
